RF Microneedling

Radio Frequency (RF) Microneedling is a non-surgical procedure.

What Is RF Micro-Needling?

RF Micro-needling is a minimally invasive Radio Frequency system that disperses Micro-needles deep within the dermis to produce dramatic skin tightening and skin rejuvenation. This can be used on all areas of the body with little to no down time.

How Does This Treatment Work?

During the treatment, heat is driven deep within the skin layers to stimulate and remodel collagen and cause elastin cells to regenerate. This results in a firmer, smoother, and more consistent skin surface.

Who Can Have RF Micro-Needling Done?

RF Micro-needling is suited for all skin types and skin color. Unlike laser treatments it only uses radio frequency energy. The amount of energy delivered into the tissue is adjustable and the micro-needles can be adjusted to address each individual patient’s needs. RF Micro-needling uses a unique design for tissue coagulation and hemostasis that may improve fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars and striae.

However a deeper more aggressive treatment may be required for your desired outcome and this may extend your downtime. Ask your treatment specialist to give you a more accurate downtime estimate before the procedure is performed.

What To Expect After A RF Micro-Needling Treatment?

Most patients will experience redness and some minor swelling. This usually subsided within 24 hours. Patients will be sent home with a skin care kit to receive the best after care results. After 24 hours patients may apply makeup to the treatment area.

How Long Does This Treatment Take?

Topical anesthetic is applied to the area being treated 30 minutes before your procedure begins. This allows the patient to have a more comfortable experience. The procedure itself takes approximately 30 minutes.

When Do I See Results?
